Yesterday @KirstieMAllsopp twittered "Does it make me a coward that I can only bare to watch a very few minutes of the Great Ormond Street show?" and it reminded me of this quote.

And surely it's the same for every Mother. We ache deeper than we ever ached before watching those charity adverts or the videos from Africa during sports/comic relief,  we wait with baited breath on the results of babies in real life programs such as One Born Every Minute and Great Ormond Street, because we've reached a landmark point in our lives, we'll never be the same again, we now carry our hearts outside our bodies.
